Matrix: The Postmodern Organization of the Church

Describes "the four identifiable cultural-intellectual eras in the history of Western civilization", postmodernism being the latest, and how the church organizes itself in response to the changing culture. Also an interesting list of trends which he thinks will emerge and/or continue through postmodernism at the end.

Very insightful. I like his historical analysis and how he combined political and religious trends. I read up on Dionysius to see why he also called the pre-modern by that name.

I do wonder though, if his view also takes into account the growth of Christianity in other non-Western countries. It seems he is a bit "Eurocentrist".

What did you think?
