We then went to the Crazy Horse Memorial. Only his face is finished. When completed all of Mt. Rushmore will fit in his hair.

Down the road was Mt. Rushmore.
Our final tour was of the South Dakota Badlands. We took the back way and drove 15 miles on dirt roads to view them.
We ended the day with a long, seemingly endless drive to North Dakota.
