Starvation Not Painful

Here is a different take on the Schiavo case. What I wonder though is if starvation is not painful for the terminally ill, does it logically follow that it not painful for others?

3:30 PM Same Day- This AP writer asks the same question.

What a great point! Why feed these people when it is the food and drink that is causing the pain in starvation. And if evolution is true, we should be glad that natural selection takes care of the excess population in such a painless way. STOP THE FOOD SHIPMENTS!!!!! We are the ones causing undue suffering by feeding these people.

To quote the Fort Wayne Journal, "That pain of hunger is felt only by those who subsist on small amounts of food and water ". I wonder if these "experts" would feel euphoric if we tested this theory on them?
